Freecycle is the ultimate recycling site that lets you get rid of things you don’t need to people who want it. They’ll even come to you to take it away. Don’t know what to do with an old couch that still has life in it? Is someone in your area giving away an air conditioner? Go to Freecycle where people give away things to keep them out of landfills.

I just love Freecycle! I’ve given away so much stuff that way and have even found a couple of goodies on occasion.

  2. Jennifer,
I know, it’s like one big flea market!

I love freecycle. We used it several times in California, both for giving away and finding stuff. It’s brilliant!
