Green Planet is the first “eco-lifestyle television network” that was launched in June of this year. To see if you are currently offered the channel, check here. I, unfortunately, do not get it with my basic cable but I’m really tempted to upgrade! If you look at their web site, you’ll see that they have shows on greening your home, decreasing your carbon footprint, green cooking, and what looks like my favorite – Greensburg. It’s a show documenting the green re-building of Greensburg, Kansas after it was devastated by a deadly tornado in May 2007.
Do any of you currently get this network and if so, what do you think? I need some input to help me decide if I can justify the addition.
We don’t watch live TV ever — we intentionally don’t have cable or satellite — so I can’t tell you anything helpful.
