Over the past few months that I’ve written this blog, I’ve mentioned some wonderful handmade toys for you to consider for your baby or child. To me, there’s just no comparison to the noisy, plastic stuff you typically see in stores. Many of these toys are made by truly dedicated craftsmen and women who’s work often means safer and more imaginative options for our little ones.

Buy now these toys may soon be banned from being sold in the United States and Canada. Go on over to Eco Child’s Play to find out more and to see what you can do to help prevent this from happening.

  1. So it’s okay for baby formula to contain trace amounts of melamine, but it’s not okay for our children to play with carefully handcrafted, toxin-free toys? That’s just messed up.

Oh that makes me so sad… think of all the wonderful etsy shops that would close down! Makes me wanna go on a shopping spree before the new year.

I sent an email out to my mom friends about this, and will be printing out letters to send to my representatives this afternoon.
